Masala Fish Curry Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 300 gms Fish
- 1 chopped Onion
- Curry Leaves
- 1 tsp Everest Turmeric Powder
- 2 chopped Tomatoes
- 1 small Tamarind
- Salt to taste
- Water
- 1 tsp Everest Garam Masala Powder
- 1 tsp Everest Fish Curry Masala
- To grind into a paste
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 8 to 10 Dry Red Chilli
- 1.5 tbsp Coriander Seeds
- 1 chopped Onion
- 1/2 cup Fresh Coconut
Instructions
- Soak tamarind in water for 10 mins. Mix well and squeeze the juice alone, set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add in onion, dry red chilli and coriander seeds and roast. Add coconut to the mixture and blend it. Add little water and make it into a fine puree.
- Now in the same pan, add mustard seeds, onions and curry leaves.
- Add Everest Turmeric Powder, Everest Fish Curry and sauté.
- Now add in tomatoes and cook.
- Add in the ground masala, water and tamarind water.
- Bring this whole thing to a good boil, cover and simmer till oil floats on top.
- Now add in fish and cook for 10 mins or till the fish is done.
- Add Everest Garam Masala and mix well.
- Serve with hot rice.
