LAUKI KOFTA CURRY with KITCHEN KING MASALA

Ingredients

For kofta

  • 300 Gms Grated Bottle Gourd
  • 100 Gms Gram Flour
  • 1-2 Chopped Green Chillies
  • 1 Tsp Ginger Paste
  • 1/2 Tsp Ajwain
  • 1/4 Tsp Everest Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Everest Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 Tsp Everest Coriander Powder
  • Salt To Taste
  • 1-2 Tbsp chopped Coriander Leave
  • Oil for frying

For gravy

  • 2 Tbsp Ghee
  • 1 Tsp Cumin
  • 1 Tsp Chopped Ginger
  • 1 Tsp Chopped Garlic
  • 1/4 Tsp Hing
  • 1 Cup Sliced Onion
  • 1/4 Tsp Everest Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Tsp Everest Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 Tsp Everest Coriander Powder
  • 1 Tsp Everest Kitchen Masala Powder
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Tomato
  • 1/4 Cup Curd
  • Salt To Taste
  • Water As Required
  • 1 Tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves

Instruction

Make Kofta Ready

  • In bowl take 300 Gms Grated bottle gourd.
  • Add 100 Gms Gram Flour, 1-2 Chopped Green Chillies, 1 Tsp Ginger Paste, 1/2 Tsp Ajwain, 1/4 Tsp Everest Turmeric Powder, 1/2 Tsp Everest Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, 1 Tsp Everest Coriander Powder and Salt To Taste.
  • Add 1-2 Tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves.
  • Mix it well with spatula.
  • Leave the mixture for 10-15 minutes.
  • Now take a samll portion of mixture and make into small roundles.
  • Heat the oil in frying pan. And fry all thye roundles on medium high flame untill crisp and golden brown.

Make Gravy

  • Take 2 Tbsp ghee in hot pan.
  • Add 1 Tsp Jeera, 1 Tsp Chopped Ginger, 1 Tsp Chopped Garlic, 1/4 Tsp Hing.
  • Sauté well.
  • Then add 1 Cup Sliced Onion and stir cook untill onions turns brown.
  • Add 1/4 Tsp Everest Turmeric Powder, 1 Tsp Everest Red Chilli Powder, 1 Tsp Everest Coriander Powder, 1 Tsp Everest Kitchen Masala Powder.
  • Mix it well for 1-2 minutes.
  • Now add 1/2 Cup Chopped Tomato, 1/4 Cup Curd and Salt To Taste.
  • Add Water As Required.
  • Cook for 10 minutes while stiring.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Add the fried kofta in gravy. Stir well.
  • Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with 1 Tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves.
  • Serve with hot roti or tandoor.
