Idli Sambar
Ingredients
- 2 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 1 tsp Everest Sambar Masala
- ¼ tsp Fenugreek
- Asafoetida
- Curry Leaves
- 4 Shallots (Halves)
- 2 Chilli (Slit)
- 1 Tomato (Chopped)
- ½ Carrot (Chopped)
- 1 Potato (Cubed)
- 5 Beans (Chopped)
- 5 Pieces Drumstick
- ½ Brinjal (Cubed)
- ¼ tsp Turmeric
- ½ tsp Jaggery
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Water
- ¾ cup Tamarind Extract
- 1 cup Toor Dal (Boiled)
- 2 tbsp Coriander
Instructions
- In a large pan heat oil, add shallots, chilies and saute.
- Add 1 tomato and continue to cook.
- Add mixed vegetables, Everest Turmeric Powder, jaggery, salt and water.
- Boil for 10 mins.
- Add tamarind extract, toor dal, water and mix well.
- Add Everest Sambar Powder and boil.
- Get some hot steamed idli and pour sambar over it.
- Garnish it with coriander leaves and enjoy.
